Rutabaga 2.0 Fire Report — October 16, 2026
Fire contained east of Askov as mop-up operations continue
The fire is burning east of Askov in Pine County. Crews successfully established containment lines around the perimeter over recent days and shifted operations to extinguishing lingering interior hot spots. The fire poses no threat to homes or communities today.
