Firefighters make progress securing perimeter lines northeast of Rattan
The Tram Trail Fire is burning in timber and understory northeast of Rattan near Cloudy in Pushmataha County. Over the last 72 hours, gusty conditions drove active runs and spotting before ground and aerial crews began establishing and securing containment lines. Firefighters continue working to hold the perimeter while local officials urge the public to keep roads clear.
Evacuations and Closures
- The public was urged on September 15 to stay off Tram Trail and avoid travel on narrow dead-end roads to prevent blocking emergency equipment.
